This model of a classic Volkswagen Beetle is influenced by the MOCs of Uli 'Ulimy' Meyer:

But for Minifigs I wanted it to fit to my other creations, which means.

trains 7-wide
trucks 6-wide
cars 5 wide

Klaus 'eastpole' Dobisch made up the draft version of the beetle, I myself improved it to the finished state of the art.

In the next step Klaus worked out a cabriolet, based on my model.

At the same time I tried an advanced design with a little prolonged cabin and a shortened nose on the black beetle. It took me over two hours to fix that roof and screens on the base.

BTW: The CAD-model is my first attempt ever to do something in Lego-CAD.... So please be patient for obvious mistakes.
