This scene was made in August 2004. It depicts the U.S.S. Monitor--which I tried to do accurately--and a fictional Confederate ironclad loosely fashioned after the C.S.S. Virginia, or the Merrimac. The Monitor here succeeds in sinking the enemy vessel.
