Mazda RX7 series I, or SA22C. Launched in 1978 to replace the RX3, the new RX7 cut a more sporty profile with pop-up headlamps and a fast glass liftgate. The car was notionally a 2-plus-2. The RX7 was initially powered by the 12A rotary engine. |
