Toyotas FJ Cruiser was an attempt to update the Jeep Wrangler offroad template. The car met with mixed success. Diehard Jeep drivers were not convinced, despite the quality of execution. Add in a V8 for Superoffroading though, and you get FJ SuperCruiser
