In 2018 Ferrari showed the track-inspired variant of the 488, the Pista. The 3.9 L Twin-Turbo V8 engine increased power to 720 PS - 530 kW. Aerodynamic changes to increase downforce were inspired by the 488 GTE, along with a 90 kg weight reduction.
