Launched in 1997, the e46 3-series replaced the previous e36 model with a similar, but larger car. Powered by inline-4 and 6 cylinder engines, and available in a familiar 5 bodystyles. Also available in M3 form with 252 kW 3.2L S54 engine, from 2000.
