The engine of the 512 S was a completely new 60 deg V12 with 560 PS output. Just in time for the 24h of Daytona, Ferrari in January 1970 presented the required number of 25 512 S, as 17 complete cars. sn1010 won in Kyalami, sn1026 at Sebring.
