All bricks shown in this sub-gallery are taken from the set 10148 (grey plates in SYSTEM colours of 1963-2003), which I bought in several copies after LEGOŽ has changed its colour palette in early 2004. All bricks have been put on each other with same orientation (numbers at the bottom of bricks are always in the same position). The results of this "test" astonished me somewhat: - 1x3 plates are the most horrible quality I have ever seen with LEGO: those stack up to an extremely uneven wall. - 4x8 plates come obviously out of two different moulds. One version comes with a mark at the face side and these do not line up in a straight row. A mix of these 4x8-plates leads to a warped overall shape. - 1x10 bricks have a totally different edge radius against all other bricks. - the 2x3 plates are far too thick (as usual for all new 3x2 plates). - the 2x2, 4x6 and 4x8 plates are lower than average - some of the 2x4 plates do not line up smooth with the rest ******** conclusion: there are still bricks, like the 1x4, 2x6, 2x8 and the 1x2 plates, which are not ruined so far....
