23/4-2008 Cadillac Deville 1967. Buying the set 4955 (Truck) -mainly for its pieces, I set out to construct a "Classic car". I chose the Cadillac simply because it was a name I could recall, and I searched internet for photos, which served as my only inspiration/guidance. In 3 days I had this model done. It has a few nice solutions, is very functional, but alas fails to capture adequatly the real spirit of the prototype car. I am not sure what the problem is, but I think the main error is that it is not long enough, and that it is too high/thick, hence loosing some of the elegance and classic lines of the prototype. Apart from that, I think it is a nice car just on its own, and it was great fun to build, as all minor invetions was done ad hoc. -Just the kind of fun LEGO should be!
