The Kenworth Heavy Duty Wrecker

This vehicle was inspired by two of the wonderful trucks in the Ultimate LEGO book.
In addition I collected various photographs of real wreckers. Mine is based on a 
Kenworth T600 "Aardvark" truck and a Vulcan wrecker body.

The model has a number of working features.
-Many of the doors on the vehicle can be opened
-It has a fairly detailed engine lurking under its hood  
-The lift arm can be raised and lowered using a small wheel hidden behind one of the 
doors in the side of the truck. 
-The lift arm itself can be extended and has a working winch.
-Attached to the arm is a working underlift. 
-Two support arms can be extended from the sides of the truck.
-One of the three rear axels can be raised from the ground, by turning another wheel 
hidden behind a door.  

The lift arm is strong enough to lift quite large vehicles, such as my Freightliner tanker 
when using the underlift. The winching mechanism is more for show. Though it functions 
as well, the weight it can carry is very limited.
