Lego Ninja Theme Chess Set

The Chess set features:

The kings are the shogun with the flags/banners
The queens are the women in kneeling kimono and bamboo tree
The knights are the ashigaru (low ranking soldiers) with spears
The bishops are the ninja with nagatina (curved blade spears)
The rooks are the microfig scale 3 tiered japanese donjon (tenshu/central keep)
The pawns are the ashigaru with katanas. (swords)

Since this is Lego, the pieces including the chess board are not glued together.
However, instructions will be included for the microfig castles.  

For viewing pleasure, I would choose the chess board with the center square
whihc is a 2x2 plate (see ChessAlt03.jpg and ChessAlt04.jpg)  but if you
intend to play chess, then I would recommend the all tile chess board.

Note the white ninjas in the chess set uses the very hard to get white ninja
princess torsos which can only be found in sets #3053 Emperors Storghold and
#1269 White Ninja Princess, both of them discontinued.

construction of the nagatina which he so kindly shared with the
